Graduate of IWA UMCS in Lublin, received his degree in 1984 majoring in graphics (litography) under professor Danuta Kołwzan-Nowicka. Scholarship form the Minister of Culture and Arts in 1997. In 2010 received Honorary Certificate of the Highest Quality at VII International Biennial of Drawing in Pilsen (Czech Republic). Received numerous awards in Polish and International competitions.
