Grażyna Smalej is a Polish painter and a graphic artist. Recently, she has also participated in Centrifugal Group with the focus on street art and performance.
Smalej's paintings are based on a solid school of realism. This allows her to move  with ease between many conventions - from surrealism (The Dreams of Mary Stuart) through photorealism (Self-Dissolution) to figuration juxtaposed with abstract forms. In the latter phase she experiments with a technique of painting (The Principle of Droplet).

In 2013 chosen by the Saatchi Online as one of the 12 artists worth investing. In 2014 took part in Continental Shift: Emerging Artists Form Saatchi Art Exibition in Saatchi Gallery in London. In 2015 her works were exhibited at "May Day" 2015 Spring Show in Jeffrey Meier Gallery, Lambertville, NJ, USA.
