Painter - pastellist. Born in 1953 in Lublin. He graduated from the Institute of Fine Arts at the Faculty of Arts, Maria Curie-Sklodowska University (MCSU) in Lublin. He received a university degree in painting from professor Ryszard Lis's painting studio with distinction in 1985. He received a postgraduate degree from the Institute of Fine Arts at the Faculty of Arts, MCSU in Lublin in professor Danuta Kołwzan-Nowicka's studio in 1989.

He is a member of Polish Artists' Union (Związek Polskich Artystów Plastyków, ZPAP) and Association of Polish Pastellists as well as of Kazimierska Konfraternia Sztuki in Kazimierz Dolny upon Vistula. He is also a co-founder and Vice-President of Polish Association of Art Teachers (Polskie Stowarzyszenie Nauczycieli Plastyków). Since 2008 he has been involved with "Constrast," an artistic group he helped to found. His works are part of private collections in Poland and abroad (the USA, Germany, Russia, Slovakia, France, Belgium, Holland, Great Britain). He lives and works in Lublin.
