Born in 1954 in Bielsk Podlaski. Graduated from PLSP in Supraśl. Earned his degree in painting from the studio of Andrew Kołodziejka in 1978, the Institute of Artistic Education in Lublin. Received a scholarship from Minister of Culture and Arts in 1986-1987, and in 2004 also the Rector of the UMCS. Winner of numerous artistic awards. Had more than 50 solo exhibitions and over 150 group exhibitions at home and abroad. He is currently a professor at the Institute of Fine Arts at the Faculty of Arts University in Lublin.
