Kornel W. Arciszewski was born on 20th April 1965 in Biała Podlaska, Poland. He is a graduate of State Secondary Fine Arts School in Kielce, major: the maintenace of sculpture. Later he graduated from Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin where he studied in the Faculty of Art. Arciszewski got a diploma with distinction under the guidance of professor Adam Myjak. He also received a diploma in drawing in an art studio of Artur Popek.
Kornel W. Arciszewski mainly deals with sculpture in wood, small sculpture works in metal and drawing. He is also the member of the Union of Polish Sculpture Artists.From the very beginning he has been cooperating with culture portal Wici as an author of posters on culture.
Arciszewski’s works can be found in possession of private collectors in Poland as well as abroad. He received the Prize of the Chancellor of Maria Curie- Skłodowska University in Lublin for the best artistic diploma in 2002. He is also the laureate in the two competitions for the bronze busts of Tadeusz Kantor in 2005 and Edith Piaf in 2006.
